商品描述

Categorization and meaning analysis of big textual datasets found on the internet currently presents a challenge for intelligent automatic processing. By combining collections of training samples, knowledge which is not immediately visible can be revealed. This book presents modern methods of text-mining using effective, time-tested machine-learning algorithms. It includes a comprehensive overview of machine learning-based methods applied to knowledge discovery and points out their pros and cons. Applications of the algorithms are also demonstrated using the R language and using real-world data from common accessible internet sources, such as social networks.
