作者簡介
Md. Haseen Akhtar is currently Prime Minister Research Fellow at the Department of Design, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He obtained his B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) from National Institute of Technology, Trichy; Master of Design in Industrial Design from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and currently pursuing Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He was the Gold Medalist of B.Arch. (2015-2020). He is also a recepient of the prestigious Fulbright Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship 2023-2024 at UC Berkeley, CA, USA and BIRAC Biotechnology Ignition Grantee Fellow 2022-2023, India. His major areas of research interests include healthcare infrastructure and services design, information design in health care, and architectural design. His research has been published in peer-reviewed international journals, presented at several national and international conferences and has 5 patents and design copyrights.
Dr. Janakarajan Ramkumar is currently Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Design, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He obtained his B.E. (Production Engineering) from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, and M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Chennai. His major areas of research interests include micro-electric discharge milling, micro-electro-chemical milling, excimer laser micro-machining, abrasive flow finishing, magnetic abrasive finishing, fabrication of composites, and machining of composites. His expertise is also evident in the field of healthcare ranging from primary healthcare innovation, intensive care unit innovation, and biomedical devices innovation with over 100 patents and design copyrights. He has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles in high impact journals.
