Network on Chip (NoC) has added a new revolution to the world of networking. It helps in making the interconnection between small packets in the system. Traditionally, interconnection solution is realized using the Bus structure. But the disadvantage of the traditional system is that although there is integration in the traffic, the Bus structure doesn’t switch so the traffic starts to get congested. This is where Adaptive Routing comes into its own as it has a mechanism which helps to direct the traffic between devices. Adaptive Routing runs on the basis of some algorithms called the routing algorithm. The router uses this algorithm to route the packets. Different systems have their own requirements and uses different algorithms. Depending on this algorithm the congestion in a network can be reduced. This book looks through different processes to manage the network congestion via Adaptive Routing. This book provides an evaluation of the different aspects and also the performance of routing algorithms. This book also provides an efficiency of power for the network, identification of the mechanism of NoC. Besides this, it also looks through new possibilities to enhance the performance of NoCs. The author of the book has written this book in project based book writing process. He don’t follow traditional technical book writing process. Because he think project based technical book writing process is helpful for article, report & research paper etc writing. And this process makes a book easy to understand to its reader. So by reading this book a reader can easily understand the topics of the book and he/she can easily gather the ideas about how to write academic, non-academic project report, research paper, article etc. The author hope his book will be helpful for the future research about this NoCs technology.
