In CAD-Based Optical Design with Quadoa, we explore how optical design entails evaluating application requirements and creating optical systems specifically engineered to meet the exact needs of optical instruments. This extensive system may include optics, light sources, sensors, electronic boards, display devices, and other components. Primarily, optical design focuses on determining the shapes, positions, and materials of lenses and mirrors to ensure the optical system adheres to indicated criteria and specifications. 作者簡介
Rafael G. González-Acuña studied his PhD at the Tecnologico de Monterrey (2020). He has 38 optics papers in index journals. He has been awarded several prizes to mention a few Romulo Garza Science Awards, and the Recognition of Civic Merit, which is the highest distinction that the State Nuevo León grants. SPIE has awarded Rafael the 2019 Optical Design and Engineering Scholarship and is the co-author of three books: Analytical Lens Design, Stigmatic Optics, and Optical Path Theory. He is known for analytically solving a 2400-year-old unsolved problem, by obtaining the general equation of the stigmatic lens. He currently works as a senior lens designer for Huawei Technologies.
