The River Chief System and an Ecological Initiative for Public Participation in China

Dr. Yaguang Hao is a Professor at Institute for China Rural Studies and Institute for Advanced Study in Political Science of Central China Normal University. His main research interests are public policy, village self-governance, water governance and grassroots politics. He is a member of editorial board of the book series of "Rural China Studies" published by Social Sciences Academic Press China, and also a member of editorial board of the Chinese academic journal China Rural Research.

Dr. Tingting Wan is a lecturer at Institute for China Rural Studies and Institute for Advanced Study in Political Science of Central China Normal University and has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University. She specializes in political sociology, with a focus on rural society and development.

姚光博士是中華中學大學中國鄉村研究所及政治學高等研究所的教授。他的主要研究興趣包括公共政策、村莊自我治理、水資源治理及基層政治。他是社會科學文獻出版社出版的《鄉村中國研究》書系的編輯委員會成員，並且也是中國學術期刊《中國鄉村研究》的編輯委員會成員。

萬婷婷博士是中華中學大學中國鄉村研究所及政治學高等研究所的講師，曾擔任清華大學公共政策與管理學院的博士後研究員。她專注於政治社會學，特別關注鄉村社會與發展。
