金子達夫博士目前是江南大學的講座教授,曾擔任日本政府內閣府選定的生物塑料海洋降解月球計畫的專案經理。他的研究興趣包括聚合物科學,如凝膠、軟物質、聚電解質、生物衍生塑料和可生物降解塑料。在這些領域中,他已在高影響力期刊上發表了超過230篇論文,並且是超過10篇綜述/書籍章節的作者。他在這個領域獲得了3項國際獎和12項國內獎。他在日本的5所國立大學和美國的一所大學擔任訪問教授,擁有25年的教學經驗。
