Dr. Xueming Chen is a professor in the College of Environment and Safety Engineering, Fuzhou University, China. He received his Ph.D. in environmental engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2017. He worked as a Marie Curie fellow and postdoc, at the Process and Systems Engineering Centre, Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark, Denmark, from 2017 to 2020. In the meanwhile, he has served as an associate editor for Frontiers in Microbiology and as a guest editor for Water Science and Technology and the Journal of Water Reuse and Desalination. He is also an editorial board member for Science of the Total Environment; Journal of Environmental Management; Environmental Technology & Innovation; Water; Environmental Advances; and Chemical Engineering Journal Advances. He is an associate young water professionals (YWP) member of the International Water Association (IWA) - Modelling & Integrated Assessment (MIA) Specialist Group Management Committee; a committee member of the Water Treatment and Reuse, Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences; and an invited reviewer for over 30 Science Citation Index (SCI) journals and conference programs, including the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2018 and 2020.

陳學明博士是中國福州大學環境與安全工程學院的教授。他於2017年在澳大利亞昆士蘭大學獲得環境工程博士學位。他曾在丹麥丹麥技術大學化學與生物化學工程系的過程與系統工程中心擔任瑪麗居里研究員和博士後研究員，任職期間為2017年至2020年。同時，他擔任《Frontiers in Microbiology》的副編輯，以及《Water Science and Technology》和《Journal of Water Reuse and Desalination》的客座編輯。他還是《Science of the Total Environment》、《Journal of Environmental Management》、《Environmental Technology & Innovation》、《Water》、《Environmental Advances》和《Chemical Engineering Journal Advances》的編輯委員會成員。他是國際水協會（IWA）-模型與綜合評估（MIA）專業組管理委員會的年輕水專業人士（YWP）成員，中國環境科學學會水處理與再利用專業委員會委員，以及超過30個科學引文索引（SCI）期刊和會議計劃的邀請審稿人，包括2018年和2020年的IWA世界水大會暨展覽會。
