Policy Dialogue on Social Justice in Education: Insights from China

Jian Li is an assistant professor in the Institute of International and Comparative Education, Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University, China. She received her Ph.D. degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) from the School of Education, Indiana University Bloomington, the United States of America. Her research interests include education policy studies, globalization, and the internationalization of higher education. Dr. Li currently also plays the role of a 'think tanker' at the China Institute of Education and Social Development, Beijing Normal University. She has published more than 100 papers in Chinese and English in multiple SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index) and CSSCI (Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index) indexed journals, such as Higher Education, International Journal of Education Research, Educational Philosophy and Theory, Educational Research, Comparative Education Research, and China Education Journal.

Eryong Xue, Changjiang Scholar (Young Scholar) of the Ministry of Education, is a professor at the China Institute of Education and Social Development, Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University, China, where he also serves as the chief scholar from the Ministry of Education for the key project 'Research on Education Thoughts of President Xi Jinping.' His research interests include education policy and law, comparative education policy, and equality of education. He has published over 160 articles, monographs, reports, and policy briefs in these areas.

簡莉是中國北京師範大學教育學院國際與比較教育研究所的助理教授。她在美國印第安納大學布魯明頓校區的教育學院獲得教育領導與政策研究（ELPS）博士學位。她的研究興趣包括教育政策研究、全球化以及高等教育的國際化。李博士目前也擔任北京師範大學中國教育與社會發展研究所的「智庫」角色。她在多個SSCI（社會科學引文索引）和CSSCI（中國社會科學引文索引）期刊上發表了超過100篇中英文論文，這些期刊包括《高等教育》、《國際教育研究期刊》、《教育哲學與理論》、《教育研究》、《比較教育研究》和《中國教育期刊》。

薛爾勇是教育部長江學者（青年學者），現任中國北京師範大學教育學院中國教育與社會發展研究所的教授，同時擔任教育部關鍵項目「習近平總書記教育思想研究」的首席學者。他的研究興趣包括教育政策與法律、比較教育政策以及教育平等。他在這些領域發表了超過160篇文章、專著、報告和政策簡報。
