Long Distance Entanglement Between Quantum Memories

Yong Yu obtained his bachelor's degree from Jilin University in 2014. Then, he joined the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), where he graduated cum laude and obtained his Ph.D. in Physics in 2020. His research interests mainly focus on cold atom-based quantum networks. He has published many excellent works in journals such as Nature, Nature Photonics, and Physical Review Letters. Due to his outstanding work during his Ph.D. study, he was awarded the President Special Prize of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His doctoral dissertation was rated as excellent by USTC and the CAS. Now, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Delft University of Technology.

余勇於2014年從吉林大學獲得學士學位。之後，他加入中國科學技術大學（USTC），並以優異成績畢業，於2020年獲得物理學博士學位。他的研究興趣主要集中在基於冷原子的量子網絡上。他在《自然》、《自然光子學》和《物理評論快報》等期刊上發表了許多優秀的論文。由於他在博士期間的傑出工作，他獲得了中國科學院（CAS）的院長特別獎。他的博士論文被USTC和CAS評為優秀。現在，他在荷蘭代爾夫特理工大學擔任博士後研究員。
