Eres Söylemez is Emeritus at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, where he was professor of mechanical engineering. He served as director of Defence Industries Research and Development Institute, Turkey, and as Mechanical Engneering Department Chairman at the Middle East Technical University.
