As European Universities converged to the EEES Bologna space, the time available for theoretical and practical lessons at the classroom has reduced dramatically. The fundamental principles and basic theory of Analytical Chemistry, are covered by many wonderful textbooks but the numerical part is not so. Although it is true that many of them present some worked examples, the students need more support. Indeed many teachers observed a serious decline in the calculation capabilities of their students.This book is intended to help undergraduate students of Instrumental Analytical Chemistry to develop strategies to generate information from experimental results in an efficient and reliable way. The exercises will provide standard protocols that students can follow to address the most common calculation steps required in laboratory daily work. It is assumed that they will use the hands-on guide after the basic principles of the analytical techniques were presented in their classes.
