It introduces real-time systems and extends to multi-processor real-time systems. It also covers topics like multi-processor task scheduling and synchronization mechanisms. This book provides a holistic view of a DRTS starting from uni-processor RT systems and focuses on design using common MATLAB®-based tools which are widely available. An extensive portion of the book deals with design and implementation of practical DRTS using MATLAB.
