Even though the field of enterprise architecture (EA) has matured, many organisations still struggle with its development and implementation, particularly those organisations involved in continuous transformational cycles and subjected to different environmental trends. This book is intended to assist organisations in getting a grip on the factors influencing EA implementation and gaining a deeper understanding of why things happen the way they do in the practice of EA. The book presents an approach for the development, implementation, or institutionalisation of EA that is independent of any method or other architecture frameworks. 作者簡介

Tiko Iyamu holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Currently, he is Professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Design at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa, having previously served as Professor at the Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa, and the Namibia University of Science and Technology. He has also spent time as a Visiting Professor at the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. His areas of focus are enterprise architecture, health informatics, big data analytics, mobile computing, and IT strategy, and he has authored seven books and published more than 150 peer-reviewed research articles in a wide range of journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. Iyamu is Associate Editor with Journal of Education and Information Technologies (EAIT), Springer Press, and The African Journal of Information Systems (AJIS), and Editorial Board Member, International Journal of Information Technologies and Systems Approach (IJITSA), IGI Global Press.
